How can you vote [click here]?
You can vote on election day, November 8th, or you can request an absentee ballot, or you can vote "early" in person.

Absentee ballot requests will be accepted from August 30th - October 24th. The first absentee ballots will be mailed out on Wednesday, October 19th. Your mail-in ballot must be received by the auditor's office by election day, November 8th, at 8:00 pm.

In-person Absentee "early" voting will be held from October 19 - November 7th.

Regular voting will take place on Tuesday, November 8th.

Identify your voting precinct and find your location for voting.
What should you bring [click here]?
In order to cast your vote in Iowa, you need to bring a valid ID. Valid forms of ID include: Iowa Voter Identification Card, Iowa Driver's License, Iowa Non-Operator ID, U.S. Military ID or Veteran ID, U.S. Passport, or Tribal ID Card/Document. Or, if you do not have one of these forms of ID, you may have your identity verified by another registered voter in the precinct (for example, by a neighbor).
